Refurbished and developed over the lockdowns SwallowsNest is now established as the main cafe here at the nest, a wonderfully quirky, cozy space overlooking our orchards and grounds… Bringing you the same excellent level of service and kindness we have always given, fully licensed and featuring our full menu

Open daily serving delicious food prepared to order from scratch, so do please bear with us if there are hold ups at busy times, we will be working as quickly as we can!

Limited BOOKINGS for larger groups taken otherwise please just turn up and we will do our best to seat you

Awesome Coffee & Homemade Cake

We are forever developing the place and even regular visitors can get a bit confussed from time to time so we thought a plan might help!

The buldings are easily accessed from both the front and rear carparks. The plant Centre and Shops are to the front of the site with the main cafe overlooking the grounds to the rear.

Our fabulous ‘Henry’

Double height, 12.8m diameter, canvas and wood magnificence.. theHenry lives in the corner of our mixed fruit orchard from Easter ’till October.  Initially seen as a wedding venue, theHenry is just a lovely welcoming space that lends its self to all manner of gatherings from brownies sleepovers, to concert hall seating 120, feast nights to family picnics, craft workshops to exhibitions 

Never fails to delight

This is one of my regular places to visit for brunch, lunch or tea and it never fails to deliver despite expanding and getting busier. They have a great orchard to walk the dog and you can take your dog in if its good. Staff are amazing and the best coffee around.

Tasty, fresh, local food

We stopped for lunch. I had a sage and onion scotch egg and salad, my son had a warm, freshly made sausage roll also with salad. Delicious. We both finished our plates. A good pot of tea and all at a reasonable price. A lovely deli to look round and buy presents to take home

 A big must visit if you’re anywhere near here good home cooked food and if your a fan of scotch eggs then a must as they have so many different types also the added bonus of a brilliant garden plant centre. Plenty of seating inside and out but can be busy at peak times highly recommended and a very friendly place

Great place to visit

 Took mum and dad out for a drive and ended up at the Nest and I’m really glad we went. It’s a garden center but different. The staff are friendly and polite, more than willing to give advice and expertise. The restaurant is well worth a visit, the food is all freshly prepared and their range of scotch eggs is amazing. And they don’t rip you off. Dogs are allowed which is brilliant, even in the restaurant, there are lots of tables both inside and out. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Nest and will definitely be going back again.
